  The sad peacock  A stunning peacock with glittering feathers was dancing on a rainy day. As the rain was so pleasant, he was dancing with happiness and started singing. But as he tried singing, his rough voice reminded him of his shortcomings as a singer. So all the joy of the rain got beaten out of him as he dwelled on his flaw.  While the peacock was drowning in discontent in his ability to sing in the beautiful rain, a nightingale started singing with joy while relishing the rain on a hot summer day. When the melodious voice of the nightingale reached the sad peacock, it further reminded him about his flaw. He began wondering why he was cursed to have such a horrible voice while the nightingale had such an appealing voice.  The forest goddess was doing her rounds in the forest that afternoon.   Fable of the two grains  Two grains were lying side by side on the fertile soil. The first grain said: "I want to grow up! I want to put down roots deep into the ground and sprout from the ground. I dream to blossom in delicate buds and proclaim the coming of spring. I want to feel the warm rays of sun and the dew drops on my petals!". This grain grew up and became a beautiful flower. The second grain said: "I’m afraid. If I put down my roots into the ground, I don’t know what they will face there. If I grow tender stems, they can be damaged by wind. If I grow flowers, they may be disrupted. So I’d rather wait for the safer time. Thus the second grain was waiting, until the chicken that passed by did not peck it.

  Power of thoughts  One man was travelling and suddenly he got to the paradise. He sat down under the desire tree (there is such tree in the paradise, sitting under which you can immediately fulfil any your desire, you just need to think about it) and thought: "I am hungry, so it would be nice to have a bite right now." And when he just thought about this, a table full of different dishes that he was thinking about appeared right before him. Wow! – The man was surprised, – but it can’t be! – He thought so, and the table with dishes disappeared immediately. "It would be nice to get it back!" – And dishes appeared again. After satisfying hunger he thought: it would be nice to drink something – and a perfect wine appeared immediately, because there are no restrictions in the paradise.   Two cats and a monkey  After a lavish festival in a village, the two cats were prowling together. One of the cats saw a big delicious-looking cake and meowed. The other jumped up and picked it. The first cat said, "It is my cake because I saw it first." The other cat said, "It is my cake because I picked it up." A monkey was passing by when it overheard the two cats fighting for their share of the cake. The monkey thought to take advantage of the cats’ fights and approached the two cats. It came to the cats and said. "Don’t fight my friends. I have two hands, and I can easily divide the cake into two pieces. Let me equally share the cake among you both".
